Supporting Volunteer (Film and TV)

Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and become one of our Supporting Volunteers. You will get to meet new people in our offices or online from home. As a Supporting Volunteer you will assist with things like data collection, administration, location, and filming assistance, as well as carrying out useful surveys to help us maintain our records of our presence on the canal.

As a Supporting Volunteer you will feel part of the team, with plenty of opportunity to learn more about a variety of subjects like digital media, SAP, and CRM. You will make a difference by being an additional voice in the team, supporting our steering groups to make sure we’re doing the best we can for our volunteers and staff alike.

Film & TV volunteer

• Research locations for filming on canals, rivers and reservoirs on canals and rivers in London
• Visit potential locations and take photographs using a phone
• Resize the photographs according to brand guidelines, upload to location libraries with a written description of the location
• Meet and greet film crews, check set up and location matches permit
• Attend larger film shoots with filming and campaigns manager
• Provide assistance with admin tasks
