Conservation Volunteer (Rugby Tow Path Task Force)
Join us today to become a Volunteer and be part of the team keeping history alive by preserving our waterways. In this role you’ll get to experience the North Oxford Canal and help maintain our structures and assets. Whether it’s working on pre-planned maintenance cutting back vegetation around aqueducts or bridges, or tackling graffiti in our more urban locations, our volunteers do a fantastic job of making sure there’s plenty of beauty on the doorstep. This is a great opportunity to make a huge difference in your community whilst learning more about the canals in your area. You could be planting, painting, doing vegetation management, litter picking or any number of things. It's a great chance to meet new people and learn about how we look after the canals. We aim to run the group every other Wednesday in and around Rugby.
