Conservation Volunteer (Working Party Leeds Liverpool East Canal)
Join us today to become a Conservator Volunteer in our Working Party Team on the Leeds Liverpool canal and be part of the team keeping history alive by preserving our waterways.
In this role you’ll get to experience the many faces and locations of our beautiful Yorkshire network and help maintain our structures and assets. You will meet at various different locations and complete a variety of tasks, this could be anywhere from Leeds City Centre and the Lancashire border.
Whether it’s working on pre-planned maintenance cutting back vegetation around aqueducts, tackling graffiti in our more urban locations, filling in towpath holes or even working off the work boat our Conservators do a fantastic job of making sure there the canal is alive and working in you local area. Your action today will help look after canals for tomorrow and we can't do it without you.
This is a great opportunity to make a huge difference in your community whilst learning more about the canals in your local area.
