Conservation Volunteer (Offside vegetation / Towpath Taskforce / Brecon / Green Team)

Join us today to become a Conservator Volunteer and be part of the team keeping history alive by preserving our waterways. In this role you’ll get to experience the many faces and locations of our beautiful network and help maintain our structures and assets. Whether it’s working on pre-planned maintenance cutting back vegetation around aqueducts, or tackling graffiti in our more urban locations, our Conservators do a fantastic job of making sure there’s plenty of beauty on the doorstep. This is a great opportunity to make a huge difference in your community whilst learning more about the canals in your area.

There may also be opportunities to work on one of our boats, carrying out offside vegetation works

This could be anywhere along our 35 mile on canal, from Brecon to Cwmbran within CRT jurisdiction.
