Towpath Team Volunteer (Middlewich Towpath Taskforce)

Our Towpath Taskforce group meets every month at various locations in Middlewich and on and around the Trent & Mersey Canal. We usually meet 10am to 3.30pm on adhock Thursdays. We tackle litter, cut back overgrown vegetation, paint locks, mend towpaths, repair fencing and many other related tasks. All tools and equipment will be provided, as will tea and coffee, just bring some lunch. Locations and meeting points are sent in advance of each session.

Drop-in roles offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities, or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
