Ambassador Volunteer (Ambassador Volunteer Yorkshire & North East)

We are looking for volunteers to help support Canal & River Trust at events, as well as attending third party events to represent Canal & River Trust.

We are looking for confident and chatty people who feel comfortable attending events without staff support, to promote the work that Canal & River Trust do.

Access to a car is ideal. This role covers the Yorkshire and North East Region, but you will not be expected to travel more than 20 miles to an event.

Join the Canal & River Trust as an Ambassador and help to connect more people to our canals. Your role will help to preserve our nation’s history and keep canals alive. You will have the opportunity to support some incredible events, be part of a supportive team network, and gain a new appreciation for our unique environment.

We need your support to help build support from those who have yet to discover our network. As an Ambassador, no one day is the same and you will get the chance to experience a diverse array of volunteer opportunities all across our regions.
