Waterside Specialist (Eco survey volunteer - Sefton)

Our Waterside Specialists help maintain the sustainability of the waterways by giving higher levels of skills through their volunteering.

Volunteering with the Trust takes on many guises and welcomes people with specialist skills in a wide range of areas from practical to surveying, indoors and out. These skills may include working alongside existing specialists within the Trust .

In this role you will undertake various ecological surveys both in your own time and on organised activities. Use of a mobile phone is essential and the ability to input information. Guidance and training will be given in species identification.

Organised activities may include surveying from the water using boats from time to time (although this is not essential). Also there may events where you will be assisting members of the public with one off survey work.
