Want to make a difference, meet new people and get outdoors?

The Canal & River Trust is launching a brand-new youth volunteering programme in Leicestershire and we're looking for young people aged 13-18 to get involved!

Where?

Initially based at Cross Corners Community Centre, with opportunities to explore and volunteer at locations across Leicestershire's canals and waterways.

What will you do?

No two sessions are the same! Activities could include:

Improving canal towpaths and wildlife habitats Conservation and environmental projects Learning practical outdoor skills Helping protect local waterways Team challenges and problem solving Community projects and events Discovering hidden parts of Leicestershire

Perfect for DofE Participants

We can support young people completing the Volunteering Section of their Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Whether you're doing Bronze, Silver or Gold, we'll help you gain valuable experience while making a real impact in your local community.
