Waterside Champion (Deckhand and trip boat guide - Anderton boat lift)

We are looking to recruit a number of volunteers to help us supporting our trip boat crew throughout the season at the Anderton Boat Lift. Ideally we need support from 9.30am until 5pm primarily at weekends

You will be helping with a variety of different tasks and activities whilst training to be a deckhand such as leading the commentary on our trip boat and assisting our customers with tickets, rope handling, maintenance and cleaning. We would love you to have some boating experience already. But don't worry if not. You will also be trained to steer the boat with a view to becoming a helmsman. Working on our trip boat will take you through the historic boat lift and along the River Weaver on every trip, possibly the best "office" ever.
