Drop in Volunteer (Let's Litter Pick - Southall Adelaide Yard - August 2024)

Join us and LAGER Can (Litter Action Group for Ealing Residents) on Saturday 31st August 2024 at Adelaide Yard, Southall UB2 5QR between 10am and 2pm for a satisfying days volunteering on the beautiful Grand Union Canal. We'll be tackling this litter hot spot to give the area a real lift. All tools and equipment and a hot drink will be provided, together with expert and friendly support.

This is a great way to meet other local volunteers and spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers in winter, sun hat in summer) and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies (in winter) or boots or trainers (in summer). If possible, please sign up to let us know you plan on coming along.
