Drop in Volunteer (Let's Pick - West Drayton - May 24)

Join us and Friends of the Grand Union on Saturday 11th May 2024 at West Drayton UB7 8FE between 10am and 2pm for a satisfying days volunteering on the beautiful Grand Union Canal. We'll be tackling this litter hot spot to give the area a real lift. All tools and equipment and a hot drink will be provided, together with expert and friendly support.

This is a great way to meet other local volunteers and spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers in winter, sun hat in summer) and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies (in winter) or boots or trainers (in summer). If possible, please sign up to let us know you plan on coming along.
