Drop in Volunteer (Clean & Green, Manchester Activity Day - Last Friday of the month)

Call to arms on the Rochdale Canal in the centre of Manchester with the aim of making Manchester Cleaner, Greener and Safer! Tasks include litter picking, vegetation clearance, painting, planting, etc. Tasks take place between lock 87-89.

Join us for our next ‘call to arms’ activity day on the Rochdale Canal in Manchester. Activities include litter picking, vegetation clearance, painting and planting. Our events run on the last Friday of each month between 10am - 2pm.

These events are very popular and we have limited spaces as a result we don't usually facilitate group bookings but please enquire to see how we can work together.

Drop-in roles offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities, or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

There are no formal skills required and you have the chance to volunteer across lots of unique and beautiful environments.
