Lead Volunteer (Southall Wellbeing Way Lead Volunteer)

The Canal and River Trust is excited to share this exciting opportunity to join our team and work with our wide range of volunteers. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to help facilitate community events leading on from the momentum built up with the Southall Wellbeing Way Project.

This involves managing the activities of the new Community Garden next to Lock 91. Leading at least 1 event a month in the area. Making sure all the installs are kept in good condition. Work with our local Volunteer Lock Keepers at the Hanwell flight. Ensuring the safety of the group, and fostering a fun and positive attitude so that our volunteers want to come back year after year.

This is a genuine hands on opportunity where you will learn more about our canal network, how to deliver safe and impactful volunteer days, and get great enjoyment from seeing these activities come to life.
