Waterside Champion (Diggle portal maintenance team.)

As a Waterside Champion we need your support to be there for our customers. The millions of visitors to our waterways, museums and attractions are intrigued by our wonderful 200 year old network. Our Champions are there to facilitate a great experience for all.

This role will look at redeveloping the area around the tunnel portal at Diggle. The area is in need of some TLC and requires a group of volunteers to oversee the management of the area as well as to develop it into a more welcoming and inviting space.

The role will involve a range of tasks including, gardening, painting, hard landscaping and maintenance.

We have other roles which complement our Waterside Champions in more specific day to day customer focused roles: Rangers, Lock keepers, Explorers, Waterside Champions and Youth Engagement roles.
