Ambassador Volunteer (Yorkshire & North East Region)

Do you enjoy the buzz of meeting new people and helping members of the public? Join us as an event volunteer to help at our Trust-led events (e.g. Open Days) and at third party events (e.g. Canal Festivals). Being an events volunteer involves several jobs including:

• Setting up and packing away a stall • Talking to members of the public about Canal & River Trust • Helping with arts & crafts sessions for children and young people • Stewarding waterside activities.

No two events are the same. We are looking for event volunteers in all areas in Yorkshire and North East so we can increase our capacity to attend more third party events and celebrations. As an Events Ambassador you can volunteer as and when suits you, or at specific events that are of particular interest to you (e.g. your local Canal festival).
