Drop in Volunteer (Hyde Towpath Taskforce)

Hyde Towpath Taskforce is a brand new volunteer group working on the Peak Forest Canal in Hyde.

We will work on vital tasks such as litter picking, vegetation management, graffiti removal, mending towpaths and generally making the canal in Hyde a more attractive place for everyone to enjoy.

All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. No experience is necessary but you will need sturdy footwear and suitable warm clothes and waterproofs. Do contact us if you would like to take part, we'd love to hear from you!

We will meet the first Friday of every month at 10am, the location may vary but in March we will be meeting at the small car park by bridge 4 on Dunkirk Lane SK14 4NL
