Ranger (Sandwell and North Birmingham)

Opportunity image

Join the Canal & River Trust today by becoming a Waterway Ranger. This is a great opportunity to make a huge difference to the lives of our canal users.

This is a fantastic way to learn more about canals and what’s involved in keeping them alive.

Rangers work as solo volunteers tackling various different jobs along the canal. From litter picking, to vegetation management. A ranger essentially takes on stewardship of a section of canal and acts as a vital part of our waterways team.

We are looking for Rangers primarily based around Oldbury, Smethwick, Tipton and the Tame Valley areas.
