Conservator Volunteer (Montgomery and Llangollen)

Opportunity image

Come along and get involved with our regular Montgomery and Llangollen volunteering activities weekly on Fridays.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, lively and active group of volunteers working on tasks such as habitat management on nature reserves, hedge laying, coppicing, fencing, towpath improvement work, painting, heritage preservation and the odd bit of litter picking. All you need to bring along is old clothing suitable for the weather and practical work, a packed lunch and hot drink and a smile, we provide everything else.

Become a Conservator Volunteer and be part of the team keeping history alive by preserving our waterways. In this role you’ll get to experience the many faces and locations of our beautiful network and help maintain our structures and assets. Our Conservators do a fantastic job of making sure there’s plenty of beauty on the doorstep. This is a great opportunity to make a huge difference in your community whilst learning more about the canals in your area.
