Towpath Team Volunteer (Fairfield Locks, Droylsden, Greater Manchester)

Our Towpath Taskforce group meets up 10am to 2.30pm at various locations around Droylsden along the Ashton Canal on the second Saturday of every month. We tackle litter, cut back overgrown vegetation, paint locks, mend towpaths, repair fencing and many other related tasks. All tools and equipment will be provided. Locations and meeting points are sent in advance of each session.

There are no formal skills required and you have the chance to volunteer across lots of unique and beautiful environments.
