Conservation Volunteer

Join the dry stone walling party and be part of the team keeping history alive by preserving our waterways. In this role you’ll get to experience the many faces and locations of our beautiful network and help maintain our structures and assets. The Dry stone walling party do a fantastic job of making sure there’s plenty of beauty on the doorstep. This is a great opportunity to make a huge difference in your community whilst learning more about the canals in your area.

This is a small group who meet on Wednesdays, weather permitting, and work outdoors in both urban and rural locations. The application states Apperley Bridge as a location but the location is dependent on the work.
