Ambassador Volunteer (Volunteer Speaker)

Join Canal & River Trust as an Ambassador Volunteer Speaker and help to connect more people to our canals. Your role will help to preserve our nation’s history and keep canals alive. You’ll have the opportunity to be part of a supportive team network and gain a new appreciation for our unique environment.

We need you, to help build support from those who have yet to discover our network. As an Ambassador, no one day is the same and you will get the chance to experience a diverse array of volunteer opportunities all across our region. As a vital part of our team, your role will involve delivering talks to diverse community groups, finding opportunities to connect your local community with the Trust, and encouraging donations and further support of the Trust. You'll be the storyteller, sharing the narrative of our Trust with sincerity and warmth, fostering connections and making a positive impact at grassroots level.

Full training will be provided, to ensure you are confident and comfortable performing this role however some skills that will support this role include: • Organised. • Flexible. • Pro-active approach. • A passion for the work we do. • Confident speaker. • Friendly.
