Towpath Team Volunteer (mobile maintaince team member)

Join us in West Yorkshire on the Aire-Calder / Calder-Hebble navigations to be part of growing number of like minded people who enjoy being outdoors and help us maintain this historic waterway as a maintaince Team Volunteer,

Based out of our ****Ossett Depot (Wakefield ) **** you will undertake task inc, General light maintenance to the locks and surrounding areas, fencing / Towpath repairs and general maintaince jobs on the network with other volunteers and staff members.

You will meet at Ossett Depot on a morning, then travel out in CRTs vehicle to various locations to undertake differing tasks.

This will be a supervised opportunity initially, but once volunteers are confident in the role they will be able to self manage themselves, fully supported by a Canal & River Trust team leader. The opportunity will be initially on a week day 09.30-14.30
