Supporting Volunteer (Stockroom Organiser – M&E Team, Docklands Impounding Station)

Join the Canal & River Trust behind the scenes at the Docklands Impounding Station to support our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) team. We’re looking for organised and proactive volunteers to help sort, catalogue, and optimise our stockroom, ensuring vital equipment is easy to access and well-managed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Organise and maintain the stockroom to support engineering operations.
  • Help develop and manage a simple tracking system for parts and equipment.
  • Work with engineers to keep stock levels accurate and up to date.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Volunteers 18+ with basic knowledge of mechanical/ electrical engineering components.
  • Competence with Excel or similar systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to give 5 hours per month, with flexible scheduling.
