Conservation Volunteer (Denham Deep to Widwater Lock litter pick)

Come and join us, Colne Valley Park and our volunteer groups at Lock 87, Denham Deep Lock on Wednesday 18th February between 10:30 and 14:30, for a satisfying days volunteering. The main activity will be a litter pick along the towpath from Lock 87 Denham Deep Lock to Lock 86, Widewater Lock. All tools, equipment and a hot drink will be provided, together with expert and friendly support. All under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult.

This is a great way to meet other local volunteers and spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers) and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies. If possible, please sign up to let us know you plan on coming along. Denham Deep Lock can be accessed by walking through Denham Country Park, then up the towpath to the lock.
