Conservation Volunteer (Plant wild flowers and look after saplings on the Grand Union)
Join us in Harlesden on Thursday 8th May for a session of planting wild flowers and caring for young saplings on the canalside. Your efforts will help enhance the canalside as great place for people to visit and a thriving ecosystem for wildlife. We will start by clearing nettles and preparing the ground for planting so please where sturdy boots. Gloves and all other equipment will be provided.
This is a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities, or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
Meeting point: We will meet in front of The Collective Old Oak (Nash House, Old Oak Ln, London NW10 6FF) at 10.00 and the session will run for 3-4 hours depending on volunteer numbers. Book your space by signing up today.
This opportunity is for individuals wanting to volunteer with the Trust. If you are looking to join us with a team of colleagues from work or community group, please see our Volunteering in Partnership pages on the website.
