Come and join our Towpath Taskforce at Camden, NW17BY, meeting at 12 pm at Hampstead lock, look out for the blue boat! As a Towpath Taskforce Volunteer you will help to support your local, historic canal by painting (weather dependant), cutting back overgrown vegetation, and collecting litter, helping to create a stunning first impression to visitors from around the world.

No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and maybe get a bit dirty. All safety procedures and work instructions will be given on the day. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions, protective and sturdy footwear with no open toed shoes. Please bring water, a snack, and a smile!

Please note that under 18's must have a guardian present throughout the session. This event is not for corporate groups, if you would like to book a time for a corporate day out please head to our corporate volunteering pages.

We welcome people of all abilities & backgrounds to our sessions. Our team have taken part in disability awareness workshops and are happy to help but due to the canals natural environment and exiting pathways, not all of our sessions are accessible for people with mobility needs. Please get in touch with us if you would like to talk about how we can support you to volunteer with us.
