Drop in Volunteer (Dobbs Weir Lock Painting)

Join us at Dobbs Weir Lock on Wednesday 29th October @ 10:30am and help us to paint it!

We will meet at Dobbs Weir Lock for a briefing at 10:30am (what3words ///paint.banana.region)

How to get there: There is parking and facilities at River Palace Cafe (Dobb's Weir Rd, Roydon, Hoddesdon EN11 0AZ), from which it is just a short walk downstream to the lock. If you are coming on public transport, the closest station is Broxbourne which is a 1.5 mile walk away.

All tools and equipment will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes and suitable clothing for painting and the weather. There will be a chance for a tea/coffee and a biscuit too.

Our opportunities offer a great way to keep fit, meet other local Trust Volunteers, learn new practical skills and spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway.
