Drop in Volunteer (Old Ford (19) on the Lea - Feb 20 & March 6 - Towpath Taskforce)

Come and join our Towpath Taskforce at Old Ford Lock 19 BE CAREFUL THERE ARE 2 OLD FORD LOCKS! We will meet at Fish Island, London E3 2TG from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. We will meet at the lock itself, look out for the blue boat! As a Towpath Taskforce Volunteer you will help to support your local canal by working from the boat to prune vegetation collecting litter, and generally tidying up. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support. We will be delighted to see you there!

Because we are working from the boat we do have limited space so please sign up if you intend to come and cancel if your availability changes.

Please note that under 18's must have a guardian present throughout the session.

We welcome people of all abilities & backgrounds to our sessions. Our team have taken part in disability awareness workshops and are happy to help but due to the canals natural environments and exiting pathways, not all of our sessions are accessible for people with mobility needs.
