Towpath Team Volunteer (Denham Deep to Uxbridge Lock litter pick)

Come and join us, Colne Valley Park and our volunteer groups on Friday 6th March 2026 between 10:30 and 14:30, for a satisfying days volunteering. The meeting point will be Denham Country Park overflow car park and we will walk from there to the canal where the main activity will be a litter pick along the towpath from Lock 87 Denham Deep Lock to Lock 88, Uxbridge Lock. All tools, equipment and a hot drink will be provided, together with expert and friendly support. All under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult.

This is a great way to meet other local volunteers and spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers) and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies.
