Towpath Team Volunteer (Hedgerow building - Brent Reservoir)

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in!

Join us for a hands-on day April 1, planting hedgerow and building a traditional dead hedge at the Welsh Harp. This is a fantastic chance to help create vital habitats for birds, insects, and wildlife while learning practical countryside skills. Whether you're planting young hedgerow whips or weaving branches into a sturdy dead hedge, you’ll be helping nature thrive.

Be prepared for a proper outdoor adventure, the ground is muddy and you will get muddy! Please wear waterproof shoes or wellies and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.

Please meet at the at the Phoenix canoe club at the Brent reservoir.

Expect fresh air, teamwork, and the satisfaction of leaving a lasting mark on the landscape. No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in!
