Towpath Team Volunteer (Let's Litter Pick with Friends of the Grand Union Canal - Alperton)

Join us and our partner group Friends of the Grand Union Canal (FoGUC) on Sunday 27th September between 10:00-13:30 at Alperton Sainsbury's, HA0 1LG for a satisfying days volunteering on the beautiful Grand Union Canal. We'll be tackling this litter hot spot to give the area a real lift. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support. All under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult

This is a great way to meet other local volunteers and spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers) and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies. If possible, please sign up to let us know you plan on coming along.
