Towpath Team Volunteer (Let's Paint Clitheroe's Lock)

Come and join us on Tuesday 16th June 2026 between 10:30 and 14:30, for a satisfying day's volunteering. The main activity will be litter picking, weeding & painting at Clitheroe's Lock. The meeting point will be by Lock 99 Clitheroe's Lock, off Transport Avenue, Brentford TW8 9HF - what3words: tiny.sand.pipes. Boston Manor tube and Brentford Train stations are a 15 minute walk away, there is no parking available around this location. All tools, equipment and a hot drink will be provided, together with expert and friendly support. All under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult. This is a great way to meet other local volunteers and spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment. No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers), water to stay hydrated and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies.
