Towpath Team Volunteer (Slough Arm - Uxbridge Road Bridge Litter Pick)

Come and join us on Sunday 7th June 2026 between 10:00 and 14:00, for a satisfying day's volunteering. The meeting point will be by the canal at Uxbridge Road bridge (11), Langley, Slough SL2 5NU, - what3words: builds.sage.eaten. Slough train station is just under 30 minutes away. The main activity will be a litter pick along the towpath and around the bridge. All tools, equipment and a hot drink will be provided, together with expert and friendly support. All under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult. This is a great way to meet other local volunteers and spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers), water to stay hydrated and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies.
