Trainee Volunteer Lock-Keeper (London Lock Keeper)
Join the Inner London team as a Volunteer Lock Keeper along the Regents Canal. Be part of a dedicated team that keeps historic locks running smoothly while creating a welcoming experience for boaters and visitors. We are looking for lock keepers at: Camden, St. Pancras, City Road, and Old Ford Locks.
What You’ll Do:
Assist boaters through the lock, ensuring safe and efficient passage. Maintain the surrounding area with tasks like painting, vegetation clearing, and litter picking. Provide a friendly welcome to visitors and share knowledge about the waterways.

What We’re Looking For:
Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a friendly attitude. Availability for an average of one day a week from April to October Volunteers must be 18+.
